Hi, I'm looking for climbing/hiking patners in Japan. Based in Sendai and I'm planning on being in Japan at least until September. Got a fair amount of trad/ice gear with me. Teaching English so my holidays are the usual school ones. Don't mind whether hiking or climbing, just keen to get out in the mountains while I'm over here.
I've got 2 weeks off starting 22nd March so I'm keen to catch the end of the winter.......maybe some ice climbing or mountaineering, probably in the Alps somewhere.

i saw your post but I dont know when you posted it.. anyway I was planning to go Ice Climbing in Japan bur having hard time to get a climbing partner. Hope you still looking.. I am keen Ice Climber check my Ice climbing pics North America and here in Australia
