Howdy,

Planning to arrive Leadville on 10/30/08. Will try Mt. Elbert on Friday the 31st or Saturday, November 1, depending on conditions.

Haven't been on Elbert since my Outward Bound days in 1981, and I currently live at sea level, so if you are looking for a slow, winded, middle-aged weekend warrior to hike with, I'm your partner. I typically enjoy solitude in the mountains, but wouldn't mind some pleasant company on this particular effort.

It's all part of my grand, 50-state highpointing plan, and this carefree jaunt to Colorado just happened to work out for this weekend.
