Description

Greetings, I am looking for the climbing/hiking male partner who can join our small group to climb Mt Whitney and stay with me from 24th of June thru 4th of July and sharing gas money. Age is no matter. Three more members are 52-61, yet I am instructor of Central Oregon Community College (Media Production coordinator) and all ages are feeling very welcome. Person needs to be strong and have some climbing experience at least to the three category level. We are climbing Mt Whitney, when I climb Mt Russell and on a way back I am going to stop by in couple of places (Convict Lake and Peak, Mono Lake and one more place), carrying my canoe (you will share it). All trip is going to be videotaped for the Zolo Media (and probably PBS) where I run “Visions of the Northwest” series of videos (partnership, no money is involved). Please call me at (541)633-6463 or send me email on this listing.
If you are from different state and different college/university please consider that your summer semester educational credits can be countable for this travel (please contact to your adviser first). However be sure that I need sharing part of $150 for this travel (gas money from Bend to Mt Whitney costs me $300) Thank you, Eugen

Hello Lanikisik,

I assume you have already secured a permit for the climb, I was wondering which route your planning on acending and decending.
Are you doing a technical route which requires gear?
thanks,
phil
