Description

Hi people,

I'm looking for partners to climb Nevado Sajama with in July 2016.
Meet-up would be in La Paz where I'd like to contract a guide and rent equipment.
As acclimatization, I want to do some climbing in the Condoriri range, ideally summit the Cabeza.

Pls let me know if you're interested.

Laszlo

Jorge Zermeno

I'll be climbing in condoriri, pico austria for aclimatization, cabeza de condor, pequeno alpamayo, huayna potosi and finally I will climb Sajama in july. My friend is a Bolivian mountain guide and you can join us if you like. I'm planing to arrive in La Paz on July 02 - 2016.

Hey Jorge,
Great!!
I expect to arrive in La Paz around the same date, well, I'll get there by 2 July then, and we can meet and talk.
I've done Huayna & Illimani before in the area so I'd skip Huayna this time.
I'm not very experienced with technical climbs and I'd like to improve on that a bit.
I travel without mountain equipment so I always rent it locally, but had no probs with that in La Paz before.

Would be great to train and climb together.

I've found you on Fb, lets continue to talk there.

El Capitano Lumaca

Dear friends,
I see that you have been planning an ascent to Nevado Sajama in 2016. I hope it all worked out well! I would kindly ask you if you can help me with the following info:
- how crucial do you tbink a guide is? is the trail to Sajama marked and obvious or is it hard to find?
- also, do you think that for altitude camps we need a permit or similar?
- are the bivouac places easy to find, next to the trail, or somewhere more on the side?

I am planning to go in September.

Best regards,

Edo
