New England Highpoints in April or May 2012

I am looking at a trip to New England in the Spring to climb DE, NJ, CT, MA, RI ad possilby NH or VT. I would be driving to the highpoints, hiking to the top then get back into the car and onto the next highpoint. I am looking at a 3 day weekend or possibly a 2 day weekend. The big question is snow. in NH or VT. May might make for a better time, but I loose the ability to base out of CT with a friend who will be moving shortly. I live in Northern VA.
