Pigeon Peak from the train

Looking at Pigeon Peak 2 years ago from the top of Windom it appears inviting. I'd like to try climbing the west side from the train and descend to catch the train out. I'm wondering if this can be done in the same day. If not then an overnight is fine. I'd like to try sometime in July.
