Description
I'm mainly a rock climber, but I have aspirations for snowy peaks and respectable alpine ascents. As of this writing my alpine experience is very limited, so I hope to find an experienced partner/mentor to do some alpine or ice routes with throughout the winter and spring. I lack equipment (boots/ axe/crampons/ tools) but I can rent what is required until I procure my own.
Along this line, a rock partner and I were planning on attempting the south ridge of Superior sometime in the next few weeks, and an experienced alpine climber would be great to have along. I will post details when we hash them out.
I work full time with half days on friday. I do have vacation time to burn, i'll just need some advance notice.

| Hi Doug,
It sounds like you're usually busy during the week, but I'll be looking for partners for alpine stuff on May 23-25. Did you get on Mount Superior? The south ridge sounds fun.
