Description

Seeking partners for some mountaineering/ski mountaineering trips in the PNW July-September; have climbed and/or skid Adams, Stuart, Glacier Peak, and Rainier (although close on Rainier however, not quite the summit), as well as many smaller peaks throughout the Chugach range and the Alaska Range, skid the Wollowa range in Oregon (guided trip), and one of the 14,000 footers in the Sierra Nevada's just out of Bishop. Comfortable laying gear on mixed alpine routes in the lower 5.0's.

Solid and sensible climber with wife and 2 kids, and hold a job as a scientist.
All my pals in their 40's say their going to go, but usually bail on short notice, and as a result I have soloed quite a bit.

Hey, I've been looking for a partner to do some climbs in the climbs and possibly some ski descents in the Cascades. I've got 6 years of mountaineering, skiing and long distance hiking. I also have solid glacier travel skills. I'm looking to hopefully not have to travel solo another glacier for a while. Currently I'm looking for a partner for a double traverse of Mt. Shasta from July 16th-20th. Starting from the North Gate or Brewer Creek trailhead and ascend the HB or HW route. Then descend the WF or AG route. Then back up and over. PM or call at (858)733-1606 if interested.

My sincere apologize for not responding earlier. Summer got hectic pretty quickly, and I forgot about this post.
My office phone is 509-736-6000, and cell is 509-521-0536.
I assume you are on Shasta right now. Hope it goes well.

I did manage to get a quick trip up Mount Hood, and have some other peaks in mind.

BenStone Let's Do Some Skiing!

I have been on the hunt for a ski mountaineering partner. Been skiing my whole life and doing glacial travel for almost two year. Recently got a dynafit setup and have been training for some bigger ski descents than just backcountry trips. I am planning a winter ascent of Rainier before March (depends on weather) via the Gibraltar ledges. I'm also an avid climbing (mostly sport and bouldering but getting into trad). Let me know if you want to go out and lay down some turns! 858-9228427
