Description

I recently moved to Huntington Beach for work and am looking for easy ways to meet folks to climb with and get into the climbing community. I've done plenty of solo trips and will likely continue but comeraderie can be enjoyable too. My focus is toward mountaineering to prepare for peaks such as Aconcagua and Denali but I'll rock climb, backpack, etc. to keep sharp.

I've been into the San Benardino's, Angeles' and Southern Sierra and would like to get into other areas as well.

	hey Duke, About a year ago I started getting into mountaineering and have taken a 13 day course in the cascades and have been on numerous 14er climbs in colorado as well as a few long backpacking trips. i am still learning and try and take trips whenever I can. I'd consider myself an intermediate beginner I don't know very many people in los angeles who are into mountaineering so i am always looking for people to take trips with. I as well am looking to train for bigger mountains like Denali, broad peak, gasherbrum II, etc. basically I want to be climbing in the Himalayas and karakoram as soon as I can. I'd love to attempt some sierra peaks this winter so if you're interested let me know.
