Description

I am looking for climbing partners for this winter. I'm hoping to climb peaks like Chair and the Tooth, maybe Mt. Hood or Rainier. Starting mid December I will have mondays off for day climbs and with enough advanced notice I could probably pull off a few multi-day trips. I am very rusty with ice climbing but have plenty of alpine, glacier, and rock experience. Hoping to find a climber who is willing to do most of the leading on steeper ice until I get more comfortable on ice. I have all of my own equipment and a car I just need someone to go with! Hope to hear from you soon.

I live in the Seattle area and might be up for doing some stuff later this winter. I'll be heading down to Mexico tomorrow to climb some volcanos for a few weeks, but should be back the week before Xmas. Keep me in mind for local climbs. My schedule is flexible so multiday trips would be a possibility.

As per my post, I would be interested in doing either or both of these routes Dec 22/23 (Fri/Sat). Let me know.

I want to do the first winter ascent of Red Mountain this upcoming Friday, depending on the weather. It is class 4 rock that will be made more difficult by ice and snow. If you are interested, shoot me an e-mail at j7jamin at yahoo.com
