Who is up for a Whitney Climb in September

I am looking for a partner to climb Whitney sometime in September. I do not have a permit, thinking about going mid-week and seeing if I can grab one in the AM, but I am unfamiliar with this process. I have not Mountaineered since I did Raineer in 2006, but I am in excellent shape and know that I can hack the climb. I have fumbled around the Sierras before and i want to get back into it.
