Macedonian Slavs came in 6th century but it was under the rules of Romans, Byzantium and Turks, just to name most important. Today this is cultural capital of Macedonia, which is predominantly Christian Orthodox country but in Bitola one can find Christian Catholic church, Islamic mosques, and Jewish Synagogue.
