"In my time of dying, want nobody to mourn;
All I want for you to do is take my body home ..."
On June 18, 2006, a fire broke out on Brins Mesa, overlooking Sedona, Arizona. The fire was finally 100% contained on June 29. Approximately 4,500 acres of national forest were burned. The fire is believed to have been caused by campers in the area.
This is a view of dead standing junipers, looking west toward Brins Ridge.
