100 miles of Klamath Mountains.

100 miles of Klamath Mountains.

From our camp on Casaval Ridge we recognized mountains as far south as the Yolla Bollys and as far north as Preston Peak in the Siskiyou Wilderness. Much of the Klamath Range including bits of the Castle Crags, the Eddies, the Trinities, Trinity Alps, Marble Mtns, as well as the Siskiyou Range

Totally Awesome

This is one of the coolest pictures I have seen on Summitpost. You caught almost every major part of the range. I think only the Red Buttes are missing. You can even see the Yolla Bollys, Shasta Bally and Bully Choop in the distance. Truly fantastic! By the way, where on Casaval Ridge were you?

Re: Totally Awesome

Glad you like it! Only someone like you would appreciate that. You got to know and love your mountains to really get into these big panos, most people just look at them and see lots of mountains and then exit the page.

It was pretty hazy that day, or this shot could be really great.

We were on the Hidden Valley side of the ridge below the knife edge (see my top rated photos for a pic of that feature) at around, oh, 11000'.
