-->NY: This is the view looking east on Emmett Street to start a 1.6 mile road connector to the Ott Biological Preserve. The road connector starts out as a celebration of heavy industry. The parking area at the corner of Emmett Street and Wagner Drive is behind you at this point. Be sure to walk on the north side of the street as the sidewalk across the Emmett Street bridge (over the railroad tracks) is on this side. Future plans are to build a trail to the Ott Preserve as part of the Calhoun County Linear Trail System, bypassing this road walk, and this may happen in the next couple of years.
