like the Nottoway River Virginia. I bet there's good smallmouth bass fishing in there?

I don't remember seeing anyone fishing that day (and I don't fish myself), but according to the state of Michigan "the Flat River has the reputation of being one of the best smallmouth bass streams in southern Michigan". Google "flat river fishing michigan" - it was the top result for me.

So, that's some pretty amazing recognition skills from a photo!
