4-September-2005: Sierra Crest from the meadow below Tower Lake, with the Watchtower on the left - compare with this shot. This was a high-snow year, so the right gully appeared to have a lot of snow in it still. The left gully looked to be steep enough that I wish I'd brought crampons and at least one axe just for the fun of climbing it.
