a frame, a harp.......

"A frame through which another's fire may glow, A harp on which another's passions, blow." Excerpt from poem (Bare Tree) by Anne Morrow Lindbergh came to mind when viewing this lone sentinel. Glacier National Park. Aug. 2007 Grinnell Point left, Altyn on the right.

red colors

Thank you for your remarks. The summer forest fires outside of Glacier most likely helped enhance the sunsets and sunrises. When I was making this photo along the highway many people were stopping and asking what? I was photographing, as they were expecting an animal. I replied "only Mr. Tree.

Very, very nice photo...!

Hope it's okay, but I attached the image to the GNP page (not too far from the top). Terrific shot!

Thanks for attaching

I am flattered that a photographer with so many great images of Glacier would use a photo of mine. Much appreciated!

Ditto - nice composition

You take great care with your compositions - getting the framing right, the light. Lots of fab textures and scenes. Got to be a 10.
