Nice report, but

I have one question:
"Were there any snakes or mosquitoes?"

Just when I thought Harry Potter was dead . . .

absolutely lovely shots and a trip report to well, I'll wait for the translated english version to come out. Great Gobs of writing, otherwise.

I was deterred somewhat from figuring out the basics, which is part of the charm to this report––only those that dare to dig in and decipher will know the true whereabouts of Wanda Pass–-although I think I've gazed upon her many a time, tramping the JMT . . . Did you come in from the east or west side?

Greetings!

Yeah, you gotta be in the mood to read all that gibberish...which, by the way, was written 15 years ago.

We always approach from the Owens Valley, usually over Echo Col, but I have also tried Lamarck Col and Wallace Col.

Amazing

Awesome trip report. It only took 2 hours to decode, but it was worth it!

exploring summer 2010

I am thinking of doing some exploring of enchanted gorge and surrounded areas. Given the higher snow level this year I am a bit concerned about too much water in the canyon. Has anyone been in the area recently or have an indication of conditions???
