A lizard setting on the top of the Altschlossfelsen !

This photo represents a very frequent scenary, which is only seeing in a rocky country ... The Altschlossfels is the longer and the more spectacular rock, for all the Palatinate sector ... With her 1450 meters long cliff is the Altschlossfels a really " Kolosse " ! Incredible, but totally right. This rock is very easy to penetrate, while an excellent good marked path is taking the hikers directly on the top of the south part ! Here, there is a well good secured view-platform. The view in the direction of the military area of Bitche (already localised in France ! ), is deep and savage, very " green " ! Lizards love too much sun and high temperatures, so that's why, we can meet too much of them here, on the top of Altschlossfels ! Without sun, the blood of the lizards is staying cold and the lizards can so becoming dead ! What a pity.
