I was up on the sawtooth route on 8/20. I think I was the guy that ran into your group at the summit of Bierstadt and along the Sawtooth traverse. I also think I took that last picture of you guys on the summit of Evans! I actually see myself in one of your Evans summit pictures. I had to bushwack my way back to the Bierstadt trailhead at Guanella Pass. Sounds like I'll have to try this route next time.
I remember meeting you up there. That was a great day.I would highly recommend this route. Although you dont gain as much altitude as the guanella pass combo, there is quite a bit more class 3 scrambling on Bierstadt's east ridge. thanks for the vote.
Nice TR Sam... (although it's comin pretty late). I'd definitely recommend this route too. It's a great summer route with a lot of cool Class 3 scrambling. I'd attempted the route the week before but my buddy had to pull out when we reached Scott Gomer Creek. Giving up at this point meant climbing back up a steep slope with extremely loose boulders and ankle deep scree to get back to my Jeep and it was not pleasant.
Let me know if you're up for any more climbs this summer man. I've got a ways to go to finishing the 14ers and will be working hard at it every weekend this summer.

I've noticed you've been out on several trips on 14ers.com. Good job on the winter ascents.
