a morsel for Mister Marmot??

While resting in deep grass during a descent of Wheeler Peak towards Williams Lake , two marmots practically climbed in my lap wanting a treat. I could have petted them , but did not push my luck. They did receive my last two oats and honey granola bars and posed while I snapped away with the camera. Wheeler Peak NM July 30, 2008
