That might be the tip of it, just behind the right side of Pennant Peak in my photo from the top. Seems like it's leaning too much for something that tall and skinny, though. If you click the picture you can see it 1500+ pixels wide, and pretty clear. Maybe you can tell.
Thanks for the kind words.
A very enjoyable read and amazing pictures! I only live two hours from Leavenworth and still haven't gotten up into the enchantments :( Explain that one...
But hopefully this year, if even for a day.
thanks for a great read. -adam
Hey Eric, this shows what amazing trips you can put together with a little creative thought. A 2 dollar water bottle? A dress shirt? A 10 speed bike? They helped make a perfect day. I loved the Mount Soggy comment too...truly you are a savvy, experienced Northwestern climber! Wish I'd seen the expression on those cold campers faces :D.
Thanks. I didn't feel so much creative, as desperate. Summer was slipping away, and I had to see the Enchantments before they were buried under snow. I've done a few solo hikes, but the mountains are so beautiful, you need to share your astonishment with someone. Still, this trip went so well, it's one of the highlights of my climbing/hiking life. Highly recommended to anyone who can keep swinging his or her legs all day.

Re: Very...Thanks, guys. If the hike had taken as long as assembling this trip report, there'd be a little memorial to me up there.
