It was only the second hike I had taken Gatorade "G2" on (with the first hike being three days prior, on the same ridge).
I am a firm believer of promoting products that have exceeded their intended performance values for me, personally. I mention my Garmin eTrex and LaSportiva mountaineering boots a lot in stories (mostly not posted), as well.
Yes, that is a pretty good idea. Some of the products I've really liked are the MSR snowshoes, the Serratus Genie packs, Black Diamond X-15 ice tool, etc. Come to think of it I try to mention them too.
