Congrats on your summit! Looks like you had a beautiful day. I'm a highpointer myself with 30 of them under my belt. I have to say Hood has been my favorite out of all of them. However when I summited Hood 3 years in ago in the summer, there were no views from the summit what so ever. It was like looking down at a blanket of haze and smog, but it was still a great climb.
FYI - Timberline gets really upset when climbers walk up and down their ski runs. Try to keep to the cat track (that's why they put it there- for us!). I know a couple of ski patrolers who would have given you one hellova tongue-lashing if they caught you glissading down their runs, especially while the lifts were running.
All lecturing aside, glad you had a safe and enjoyable climb and thanks for the fun read :)

Beautiful! You are right! The scenery is beautiful. After all the cold and snow we had this past winter I am not sure I would be pursuing snow just yet! :?)

Nicely doneNice misty views than clear views of Pearly Gates. Quit a crowd on the Hogsback. Less snow around Timberline than I expected to see.

cooper spurI'm not real familiar where the Cooper spur is on the north face, but I did take a pic looking down the north face if that helps at all.
