Beauty!

I always enjoy reading a report from someone who isn't hell-bent on reaching the summit but instead, is concerned & interested with the route. The summit can be a really crappy place and not at all exciting...but the route to achieve it, well, that's where most of the excitement lies!

Thanks Kiefer. As far as the summit, I still have not been on top of Longs. But my main goal was just to climb the Notch. That alone made me very happy. One of the best alpine routes I've been on. I just love the Alpine technical routes. They are the most satisfying.
