A Whitewater Rafting Necessity

A Whitewater Rafting Necessity

Our esteemed "groover" August 2008, Arkansas River, CO Why is it called a "groover"? This dates back to the era when rafters used old ammunition cans with their characteristic grooves. Ouch! The next improvement was adding a toilet seat. Finally, they switched to plastic containers and properly shaped resting places. It's still called a groover and it's get sealed properly and carried on a raft each day of the trip.
