A window in the sandstone (2)

This is a detailled view, of the window, which is situated in the " Fenstertürmchen " (or, in english : " Window-Tower " ). In the perfect center of the window, you can see the Glasfels climbing towers, which are one of the most famous climbing rocks, for the Erfweiler sector. Rappenwand or Glasfels, are both well known, for their breedings of peregrines falcons, in the period situated between begin february and end july. It's so, for this reason, that these two rocks can be closed and forbidden to the hikers and the climbers, in this period ! In the neary region, several others rocks are having a reglementation like this one here ; exemples : Durstigfels, Hirtsfels, Geierstein, Rödelstein, Rötzenberg, Asselstein, Bavariafels, Leberstein, Hundsfels, Dingenfels, Krappenfels, Pfaffenfels, Kastellfels, Pferchfeldfelsen, ...
