Its a great photo Marc! Thanks for sharing!
Best regards, Afzal
Thank you so much Afzal. I saw this shot by accident, and thought to share it with my friends at Summit Post.
Thnx for posting it.
Thank you very much, Bergds. I'm glad you like this shot.
Well, the moon was there, and the hole was there. All I had to do was to look for a place where they lined up.
Thank you so much, Borut.
Unique and beautiful.....Thanks for sharing.
Thank you TyeDyeTwins. Glad you like it.
Happy back country skiing.
With the moon it looks just like an eye! Very nice photo.
haha...an eye! Never saw it like that. But that you said it, well yes.
Thanks for the visit,
another gem Marc.
Thank you very much, Radek. I wish I had my tripod with me. I had climbed up the rocks to get The Sierras from the other direction, on the way back I noticed I could probably line up the two.
Thank you "squishy" For my next trip up there, I'm gonna do some figuring and research to get the best possible shot.

awesome pic by Marc!
You are too kind, Eric. But I appreciate the compliment.
...you got it!
Sorry about such a long delay to respond, Ray. I don't know how your comment got past me! But, thanks for the compliment.
No problem. And hey, I just spotted a Dolphin in the formation. Nice.
I've not been posting lately, as I've both not been active in the hills and too many summer jobs - like built my garden cabin and been growing "real" food. Just wish I could grow wine ! Hahaha...
You have some incredibly keen eyes to see the dolphin. After staring at the photo for a minute, I think I see it too. The ear is a bit too big, but then again, many people have big ears too.
Sure you can grow wine. All you have to do is to grow grapes, but let it rot on the vine. That's your wine there.
