Well, you are right, info like "routes are on ribs" are not any detailed one. I am just not able to write paragraph after paragraph about getting from the Pinachevo saddle to the summit wtih walking/++ dificulty. The same from another rib from the side of Korjakskij volcano.
The mountains where i sit at are about 9000 feet yet the mountain in your photo is HUGE compared to them...maybe its the fact that my area is already high above sea level.

Re: Odd...Hi to Montana ;-), yes, you usually start little above sea level to mountains in Kamchatka. Thus, altitude difference is usually marvelous....
