Re: Amazing!Marlon, 2nd highest structure in Canada and been there since 1922. The original mountaineers in this area were tough old bastards not to mention knew what they were doing I suppose. Most came in with the railroad and had a lot of engineering background. Most historic hut in the Canadian Rockies. Cheers.

Re: Firewood?Mark, helicopter brings stuff like that in when it hauls the shit barrels out. This hut has manned custodian quarters most of the summer. Gentleman up there when I went was 70rs+ and liked a good game of hearts which I and a few others obliged. All you need is your bag and food. Quite the historic quarters. Cheers.
