Above Altenberg and Cinovec

This was still in Germany, though only 1 km short of the Czech border, in the Erzgebirge region. It was still a cozy -15 degrees Celsius when I was up there on the afternoon of February 2nd, 2012, but that same night temperatures dropped down to -21.
