Nice work Vlad !

South Face Couloir huh ? Any possibility of a route page ? Sounds like fun ...

Re: Nice work Vlad !

Thanks Rob.
It was a fun route. We did not plan it that way. Just had to avoid the wind that was beating up of the right side of South Face (where the summer trail is). The "couloir" is on the left side and it is described on the South Face page. I guess by calling this chute a couloir I exaggerate somewhat. It's only 200' long or so. I surely felt it was not easier than say Crescent Moon Couloir on Round Top. 55 degrees max and 40 degrees on average is my estimate.
Is your cast coming off tomorrow? Let me know...
Vlad.

Sweet !

No, I still have another week to wait ... next Friday with any luck. We'll see what the doctor says about climbing, but I expect it will be a couple of weeks after the cast comes off.

Don't rush it! I know you can't wait to get back on the rock. It's better to be safe than sorry...
