Aconcagua Descent

After about 30 minutes on the summit, we started back down to Nido. Our descent route was via the Gran Acarreo (yes, the same Gran Acarreo the guides tell you not to use). While it's definitely not the place you want to get caught on the mountain in a storm, it does offer a fast, straight forward trip back to Nido. Just don't descend too far before traversing back towards Nido. These were the first real clouds of our trip, and they descended quickly.
