Great early fall climb
Mountain tops carpeted with red, it was chilly but beautiful!

Gorge-ous
One of the premier gorges in the world. The hike and view is outstanding. Went there on the opening day of the season, so still sections of trail with snow on the ground.
Route Climbed: Acropole des Draveurs Date Climbed: October 9 2005
Its a cloudy day but its not rainnig. 9h30 and there is already 200 persons going up. At the summit, there's a lot of fog but this add to the thrill. At the third summit, there's frost on the trees. On way back, it was a reel highway, not surprising on a thanksgiving day
Quel belle randonnée.. Nous avons fait d'agréables rencontres. Mon épouse venait d'accoucher quelques semaines auparavant.. Je crois qu'elle a trouver la montée un peu difficile mais nous en gardons de très beau souvenirs..
One of the most beautiful view from the summit of any mountain in Eastern Canada and US. You have drops of more than 750m down to the Malbaie river, quite impressive and spectacular.
Au Quebec c'est l'une, sinon la plus belle montagne que j'ai monté, rien à comparer avec celle du nord-est americain, mais bon, elle en vaut la peine. La seul chose que je déplore c'est la congestion dans la trail pour monter, quand y fait beau.

We stayed at La Pin Campground right across the road from the trailhead. WIthout having to wait for the bus, I was able to get an early start (5:30) and make a nice trail run to the summit. Didn't see any other people, but a porcupine scared the **** out of me as I rounded a corner about 2/3 of the way up. This trail is amazingly well-maintained. Lots of switchbacks, which you don't get in neighboring New England. The view is striking and expansive and takes in a large, remote tract of land. How many people know about this hidden gem of a hiking trail?

BeautyClimbed this twice. Last time with my 5 year old niece. She was a real trooper! I highly recommend this hike!

Very beautiful mountainThe trail is very well maintained and the view is always very nice.
This mountain is truly beautiful, it is my favorite one in Quebec.
