When Human folly had brought the war over three thousand meters, only the dogs were able to share and bear with men labors and dangers of the glacier(were used for the transport of supplies, food and wounded).

Perished more under avalanches that from the bullets.

Leòn and me, fortunately, we were born in an era of peace and unity.
We can, and we just have, to enjoy the mountains of Europe.
