Adige canyon

Near the small town of Rivoli Veronese, on the western edge of Monti Lessini, the Adige river forms a picturesque canyon which was always strategically important. This is the view from a promotory above the canyon towards the north. Two big fortresses, made initially by the Austrians, are also seen on the picture. October 31st, 2017.
