This is the list that really got me going. Was living in the High Peaks as a young State Trooper and my first 46R peak was Algonquin on May 3, 1993. Finished on Allen just over 2 years later on June 5, 1995. As the years went by and my mountain goals became bigger, I returned many times to the loftier 46R peaks in winter as my training ground for western objectives. As all good 46Rs can quote, my official number is #3593.
8 years from '04-'12 I hiked the 46. At first I never intended to hike a "list" of mountains, but eventually I fell into it. It motivated me to see new places and push myself physically and mentally. All in all a rewarding experience that builds character.
