Dripping Springs
Rained on me all the way. Summit use trail was partially overgrown with manzanita.

Via Dripping Springs Trail
Not a bad hike. The Palomar-Magee trail was a bit overgrown. Keep an eye out for ticks. Check yourself and buddies regularly. The heat can be a bit oppressive in the summer. Bring extra water.

Agua Tibia Wilderness Loop
Very enjoyable hike except for the scratchy bushwhack near the summit. Use trail was marked at the trail but quite overgrown. However, I found my way through with only one navigational error. Nice class 3 summit boulder. BM and summit log is about 20 yards to the NW from it. Continued on Palomar Magee TT to Eagle Crag and back via Wild Horse Trail. Long 24.5 mile day.

Loop Hike
Up the Wild Horse Trail to Crossley Saddle (tagging Wild Horse Peak along the way), then down Palomar/Magee and Dripping Springs Trail back to car. The short use trail to Agua Tibia's summit was pretty overgrown but still navigable. The Palomar/Magee Trail looked to have been somewhat recently groomed and no bushwhacking was needed.

26 mile loop
Via Dripping Spring on the way to Eagle Crag. About 2hr 45min to the summit from the parking lot. Pink ribbons indicated the turn-off.

Torture
Climbed via the Drippings Springs/Palomar Magee Trail along with Eagle Crag and returned via the Wild Horse Trail. Was a tortuous climb. Palomar Magee was badly overgrown and the snow made the trail even worse. Frozen tree limbs covered the route up and made the trail indiscernible at times. Used snowshoes from just past the Crosley Saddle up to Eagle Crag. The trail back was equally horrible, while it was well maintained, it was much longer than shown on the map I was using and took forever to return. Most have it pegged as a 25 mile trek but I thought it seemed closer to 30. Glad the death march is over but I will definitely feel it for a minute!!
