Pitch 3 of the Aiguille de l'M NNE Ridge. The first moves require a fair amount of commitment as the start is only protected by the belay behind you. IMO the V- rating is too low for this section, it's safe to be prepared for a few grade VI/5.9-ish moves. Sep 6 2009.
