Allen Mountain viewed from the summit of nearby Mount Gould. None of the small tarns at the base of Allen are named. An open draining near Morning Eagle Falls can be used to gain the lake at lower right, and there is a maze of game trails leading to the lake at upper left. From this point, it is over 4,000 feet straight down the unbelievable east face of Mount Gould to the Cataract Creek drainage far below.
