Alligator Juniper

My guess is this Alligator Juniper is well over 100 years old! It gets plenty of water, growing on the west side of Arizona's Pine Creek, and capturing all of that Arizona sun. -January 4, 2008- The bark of this tree is supposed to resemble 'alligator' skin!!
