Almost got stuck here

The sand was deeper than I thought it'd be and the slope on the other side of this gulch was a lot steeper than it looks in this shot. This pic is to remind me to not be so foolish the next time I face such a situation. I did manage to get myself out of this but it was close. I do carry a shovel and know how to jack the truck up and build my way out but that is a lot of work and I had other plans for the day. BTW, this was a shortcut to the Paria River overlook. 1-20-12
