Alpamayo Col View

© 2014 Eric Hodges Best viewed large! This is a very large panorama. This is the view from just below the col on Alpamayo looking back toward Santa Cruz valley. It's around 5400m (~18,000 ft.) Often climbers camp on top of the col, but this year high camp was in the bowl right in front of the face of Alpamayo. Cordillera Blanca, Peru, August 2014.
