Don't be! :-)

I'm happy about the impression it made on you...but unfortunately it's not a vulture, but simply an alpine raven.
Thanks for your comment all the same, Jasano! :-)
Cheers,
Eric

Vulture, Alpine raven...

whatever, I love the photo. Having the white clouds as the background and the mountains in the foreground made this an outstanding shot, not to mention your quickness to capture all of that.
A wonderful photo, Eric

Re: Vulture, Alpine raven...

Thanks so much, Marc! :-)) As far as I can remember, this one was one of these really "lucky random hits" - I was trying all the time to get good shots of the birds, and at one time I pressed the button too early "by accident"...and this is what came out! I myself felt this as a nice "gift"...;-)
Cheers, Marc,
Eric

Ravens

I find ravens to be fascinating. They are such intelligent and adaptable creatures.

Re: Ravens

Yes, and they are not the slightest bit afraid of humans. I already had a couple of times ravens perching themselves on my shoe and even moving right up my leg as I was seated on the grass taking my provisions out of my rucksack! ;-)
