Thoughts -This is a very good page with lots of good info and I think it would be helpful if this was attached under "huts and campgrounds" and under the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
It also would be nice if the pictures could be attached to the related hut/area.
Good but there seems to be more snow in town than in the front range mountains so some people have been scrambling ridges. Not as much backcountry skiing as I was hoping for because of the bad avalanche conditions. The snowmobilers sure are having a bad year - 12 dead so far!
How are things in Kimberly?
Things are not so bad here - but sure different than last winter where it was mild temperatures and snowing ALL the time. This winter the temperatures are much more over the board and there hasn't been much snow at all... it's been three weeks or more since we've seen any snow to speak of. We didn't get the big dumps Fernie got. And it's been humid lately... definately making things seem a bit colder than they otherwise would seem. But, all in all, things are well in this quiet Kootenay town :) Take care.
