Alpspitze (2626 m) near Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, as seen on an early spring morning two hours after sunrise. There is a nice rock climbing site in the steep sunlit zone just below the image center. 4 to 12 pitches and good rock. This is a view from where I live :) (coordinates are estimated)
