This stone outcrop is thought to be weathered (if not altered) limestone
located just south of I-17 near the Camp Verde/General Crook Trail exit of central Arizona.
Access is attainable by way of Copper Canyon, a former historical route
through which a stage lines shuttled U.S. Calvary troops to and from
Fort Apache and Fort Whipple during the late 1800s.
