American Robin

Turdus migratorius is North America's largest thrush (approximately 10 inches in length) I spotted this one near Mary Jane Falls trail in July 2007. Spring Mountains, Nevada.

He, he, actually no. I shot this photo "on the run". He was on the ground initially among the scree (uninteresting background), but when he saw me he jumped on a tree.
I was happy as it made for a much nicer backdrop. Thanks for the vote.

Thank you for the information. Turdus migratorius is a bird, which occasionally one can meet also in Poland. They are under protection. Henryk
