Approached from west (from Lauslinggraben). With a side-walk I visited also Größenberg. It was cold on the top of Amderingkogel: 3 Celsius degree. I didn't see a single person during the hiking, though it was Sunday.
And a comment: in the description written by Tomislav I read that the F1 races can be seen from this hill. Accidentally I was on this hill just on the same day (in the afternoon) when the F1 race - that returned to Austria - was going on. But I noticed not much about the race. Just a Red Bull service truck on the highway near Zeltweg
